Description	English: View from my Window, Quebec, Lower Canada, watercolour over pencil on wove paper, 26.800 x 18.800 cm Français : Vue de ma fenêtre à Québec, aquarelle sur crayon sur papier vélin, 26.800 x 18.800 cm Enseigne de la sellerie de Pierre Cerat, à l'angle des rues Saint-Jean et D'Auteuil. « Arrivé de Montréal au début du XIXe siècle, il exerce d'abord le métier d'armurier, avant de devenir sellier. C'est vraisemblablement dans la décennie 1810 qu'il s'installe dans la maison qui allait éventuellement devenir la boulangerie Johnston. Il y exercera son métier de sellier jusqu'à sa mort survenue en 1841. Sa maison et sa sellerie étaient parés d'une affiche annonçant ses services. Elle en couronnait la lucarne centrale et son nom était surmonté de deux chevaux. » – Société historique de Québec
