Description
English: Treasure report from Dr. A. Rogerson: Silver Thor's hammer pendant, suspension loop missing and "handle" slightly bent. There is no decoration and a shallow groove along one side of the "head" is a casting mark. See discussion of such objects and description of another example from this parish by B. Ager in Treasure Annual Report 2003 (2005), 74-5, no.98. Late 9th - 10th century.
