English: U.S. Marines with the maritime raid force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a search aboard the USS Miguel Keith (ESB-5) during a visit, board, search, and seizure exercise off the coast of Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 11, 2023. The training evaluates and certifies Marines in search and seizure tactics while at sea. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of the USS America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
