English: An incomplete silver Roman denarius of Augustus (31 BC – AD 14), dating to the period c. 29–27 BC (Reece period 1).

Obverse: Apollo, facing right with laurel wreath

Reverse: [IMP CAESAR] [Imperator Caesar, Caesar the General]

Octavian, veiled and laureate, ploughing with yoke of oxen to the right, holding a whip. Uncertain Italian mint. As RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 60, no. 272.
