Description
English: Bronze bust by sculptor Wilhelm Rasmussen of Vidkun Quisling, head-of-state in Nazi Germany occupied Norway 1942 – 1945 and leader of the Norwegian Nazi party Nasjonal Samling (NS) 1933 – 1945. Also a German uniform (with SS-Rottenführer insignia) used by a Norwegian volunteer in a collaborationist formation of the Waffen-SS in World War 2. Photo taken on 7th March 2019 in the World War 2 exhibition at the Norwegian National Museum of Justice (Justismuseet) in Trondheim.


Norsk bokmål: Bronseskulptur av Vidkun Quisling, leder i nazistpartiet Nasjonal Samling (NS) 1933–1945 og fra 1942 ministerpresident (statsminister) på de tyske okkupantenes nåde under andre verdenskrig i Norge. Portrettbysten er utført av billedhoggeren Wilhelm Rasmussen og står utstilt i Justismuseet i Trondheim. Digitaltmuseum.no omtaler gjenstanden her. Foran utstillingssøyla er et foto fra NS' olsokstevne på Stiklestad 1944 og Straffesak mot Quisling (les dokumentet i bokhylla.no). Bak sees blant annet en Waffen-SS-uniform brukt av en frontkjemper i tysk tjeneste som norsk frivillig korporal (SS-Rottenführer).
