==Text== Wayne Man Sues Railroad For Old Job. Claims "Arbitrary" Firing Two Year Ago By Lackawanna Line. Paterson, New Jersey. A Wayne Township man who claimed he was arbitrarily fired from his job as a railroad switchman and acting yardmaster at Hoboken, has filed suit in the chancery division of Superior Court to have his job restored so that he loses no seniority or pension rights. Walter Towey, hired by the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad as a trainman in 1940, alleged he lost $2,500 through being fired in October, 1947. He spent three of his seven years with the railroad in the army. In filing suit against the railroad to get his job, seniority and pension rights back, he described an incident in August, 1947, leading up to his dismissal. On the night of - August 1, he declared, he was acting yardmaster at Hoboken and while on an inspection tour noted infractions of company rules by some other employees. He reported them to the general yardmaster. But the next day he was told he was out of service. Later, he was interviewed by an assistant superintendent about a freight carload of liquor which was broken into while he was on duty, he said, and subsequently dismissed..
