Object history Die Kogge weist auf den Ortsnamen hin, die Wellen symbolisieren die Geeste, die die gesamte Gemeinde durchzieht. Die Ähre ist Sinnbild der für die Gemeinde wichtigen Landwirtschaft, die neun Körner der Ähre weisen auf die neun Ortschaften der Gemeinde Schiffdorf hin.
