Object history Die beiden Nadelbäume stehen redend für den Ortsnamen: "Siedlung in oder bei Tannenbeständen". Das bedeutet auch der neuzeitliche Namenszusatz "am Forst". Bis heute erstreckt sich ein großes Waldgebiet vom Dentleiner Forst im Westen bis zum Burker Wald im Osten. Die Zollernvierung in der eingeschweiften Spitze weist auf die einstige Zugehörigheit zur Markgrafschaft Brandenburg-Ansbach.
