Description
Deutsch: Wappen des Landkreises Offenbach
„In silbernem Schild ein grüner Eichbaum mit drei goldenen Eicheln, belegt mit einem von Silber und Rot gespaltendem Schildchen, darin vorn zwei schwarze Balken, hinten ein halbiertes silbernes Rad am Spalt.“
Der Eichbaum im Hintergrund steht für den Wildbann Dreieich, die schwarz-weißen Balken für das Fürstentum Isenburg und das Rad für das Kurfürstentum Mainz. Die Symbole wurden wegen der langen Zugehörigkeit von Teilen des Kreises zu diesen Institutionen gewählt.
