Summary[edit]

Description Form des Urner Kantonswappens, die v.a. in den späten 1940er und in den 1950er Jahren in Gebrauch war. Es ist die Form, die im offiziellen Wappenbuch der Bundeskanzlei von 1948 erscheint. Sie wurde ebenfalls verwendet auf der Lokomotive «Ae 6/6 11402 Uri» (1953). Seit den 1970er (1960er?) Jahren wurde vermehrt eine vereinfachte Form verwendet, vgl. File:Wappen Uri matt.svg, die bis heute auf Urner Kontrollschildern in Gebrauch bleibt.
