Description

Happy Birthday Pennsylvania! — Another day this week, another state birthday. Today's belongs to Pennsylvania who became the 2nd state to ratify the Constitution 227 years ago on Dec 12, 1787. Although it may be hard to see depending on where you're looking at it, this education poster put together by the USGS is for middle school students to learn more about water quality and potential sources of pollution. This poster and many others​ (for elementary and middle school students)​ can be found at water.usgs.gov/outreach/.

The USGS provides a wealth of information and data related to the water resources of the state including streamflow, water quality, real-time data, and more.
