Description
Nederlands: Zuid wijkermeerweg (tegenwoordig kruising Wijkermeerweg-Kanaalweg) te Beverwijk. Betreft de houten rolbrug over het toemalige inundatiekanaal nabij voormalig cafe De Klomp. Foto is gemaakt tijdens grootschalige oefening eind september 1899 waarbij generaal-majoor Van Houtum met zijn adjudant onderweg is naar Fort Aagtendijk.Links is molen de Hoop zichtbaar die stond bij station Beverwijk. Rechts op de achtergrond is de schoorsteen te zien van de Beverwijkse Conservenfabriek aan de Bloksteeg
