Description
Deutsch: Der große Refraktor der Kuffner Sternwarte wurde 1884 bis 1886 von Repsold & Söhne nach dem keplerschen Prinzip gebaut und besitzt ein halbapochromatisches, zweilinsiges Objektiv von Steinheil & Söhne. 1890 wurde zusätzlich ein Astrograf installiert, mit welchem u.a. Karl Schwarzschild astrophysikalische Fotografien erstellte.[1]
English: Refracting telescope at Kuffner Observatory. Built 1884-1886 by Repsold & Söhne (Hamburg) in the keplerian Design. Optic by Steinheil & Söhne (Munich). An Astrograph was added in 1890.
