Abstract: This proposal aims to share the impact of Wikidata-powered infoboxes on smaller language Wikipedias in Africa, with a focus on improving the user experience for contributors. By identifying barriers related to adding infoboxes and editing templates on Wikipedia articles, this research will lay the foundation for future support of small language communities in Africa.
