Description
Deutsch: Witzenhausen: Renaissancebau von 1590, neu errichte Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts. Davor links eine Statue, Jacob Grimm darstellend, der am 17. Dezember 1837 - fünf Tage nach seiner Entlassung als Professor und der Landesverweisung durch den hannoverschen König - auf dem Marktplatz von Witzenhausen eine Freiheitsrede vor den Witzenhüssern und vor Göttinger Studenten hielt. Plastik aus den 2000er Jahren von Karin-Bormann-Roth.
