[edit]
Description
English: This is a picture of a Wobbygong Shark, which is the common name for any species of carpet sharks. They live in shallow water which is temperate or tropical and are very abundant. "Wobbygong"is believed to have come from the Aboriginal word meaning "shaggy beard". This particular photo was taken at Halifax beach in Nelson Bay, NSW while scuba diving. He is resting on a rock, they tend to not move around very much and will just sit on the bottom. Wobbygong sharks are peaceful creatures and do not harm you.
