Description

This wooden squirrel is near the Nutty Narrows Bridge and is decorated for the holidays. (The building in the background if Longview's Public Library)

Plaque reads:

Dedicated to the Memory of Amos J. Peters 1916 - 1984

A creative builder and developer who donated to the city the word's only bridge for squirrels, in 1963. His love for family and community continues to be an inspiration to all who knew him.
