Description
中文（臺灣）：烏山頂泥火山地景自然保留區位於高雄市燕巢區，其形成與旗山斷層及泥岩地質有密切的關係。旗山斷層是一個東北－西南走向的逆斷層，其錯動使得岩層產生破裂，有利於水分滲入至地底下與泥岩和成泥漿，高壓氣體再沿著裂隙將泥漿噴出地表，堆積成泥火山。烏山頂泥火山區最大的一座泥火山高約3.5公尺，坡度約為50度，是一座典型的噴泥錐。每隔數秒即噴發一次，濃稠的泥漿沿錐面流下，形成舌狀的泥流，可及的範圍達直徑70公尺。
