Description
English: Cineradiographic (X-ray film) clip of a 1.0 kg female American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis), demonstrating the role of the intermediate rib in thoracic narrowing during expiration, and thoracic widening during inspiration. Experimental subject in lateral projection at 70 kV and 220 mA, X-ray positive. Head is toward right side of image.
