Description
English: Cineradiographic (X-ray film) clip of a 2.1 kg helmeted guinea fowl (Numida meleagris), demonstrating the uniformity of thoracic widening in absence of an intermediate rib. Experimental subject in dorsoventral projection at 70 kV and 220 mA, X-ray positive. Head is toward bottom left of image. (see appended Quicktime file).
