Summary
[edit]Subject
[edit]- Unknown snake. Mortally wounded about the neck by a gardening implement, although I don't think the damage is visible in the photo.
UPDATE: It is an Eastern Kingsnake, also known as a Chain Kingsnake due to the white or yellow chain-link bands that cross the back and connect along the sides.
