Description
English: Balad Air Base, Iraq -- Staff Sgt. Bonnie Mc Kinley (left) leads Staff Sgt. Joseph Jalkennen, Airman 1st Class Linsey Gregus, Senior Airman Yvonne Smith, Army Capt Amy Hadsall, and Staff Sgt Vanessa Bibb in the relaxation and limbering practice of yoga during a break in her 15-hour shift at the Air Force Theater Hospital, Balad Air Base, Iraq. The 5'4" respiratory therapist with the 332 Expeditionary Medical Group weights in at 140 pounds, but a few years ago she weighed 215 pounds after a pregnancy. She attributes her weight loss and fitness increase to the practice of yoga and a healthy diet. The bending and stretching worked so well for her that she achieved certification as a instructor and leads yoga sessions for base personnel, three times a week, in the hospital staff lounge. Stationed at Sheppard Air force Base, Texas, she is finishing up a deployment at the Air Force Theater Hospital at Balad Air Base, Iraq. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Lance Cheung)
