Čeština: Zdeněk Peška (* 9. května 1900 Praha – 23. října 1970 Praha) byl český univerzitní profesor, odborník na ústavní právo. Coby člen odbojové organizace Politické ústředí byl v roce 1939 zatčen a odsouzen k patnácti letům vězení. Na podzim 1945 byl zvolen poslancem Prozatímního národního shromáždění, kde se rovněž věnoval ústavním otázkám. V politickém procesu s Miladou Horákovou a spol. byl odsouzen k trestu žaláře na dvacet pět let. Na fotografii neznámého autora je profesor Zdeněk Peška po zatčení Státní bezpečností v roce 1948.
English: Zdeněk Peška (* 9 May 1900 Prague - 23 October 1970 Prague) was a Czech university professor, an expert in constitutional law. As a member of the resistance organization Political Headquarters, he was arrested in 1939 and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. In the autumn of 1945 he was elected a member of the Provisional National Assembly, where he also worked on constitutional issues. In the political trial of Milada Horáková and Co. he was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison. The photograph by an unknown author shows professor Zdeněk Peška after his arrest by the State Security in 1948. |
