1939 Packard Twelve

1938 and 1939 Packards look very similar. Their main difference in appearance ist the treatment of the radiator shutter. In 1938, they were either chromed or painted; in 1939, there were chromed and painted: Two painted, one chromed. Twelve is identified by hood doors. From this angle it is hard to distinguish wether this is a 1707 (wheelbase 134 3/8 in.) or a 1708 ((wheelbase 139 3/8 in.).--Chief tin cloud (talk) 18:00, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
