Fixed head coupé

[edit]

@Jmabel: I tried to remove the mistake in the file name ("Flexible") and described myself as the uploader - which the file says I am.

I then received a message saying I should be honest because I am not the uploader. And now I seem to be blocked from trying again. Why? Eddaido (talk) 23:37, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Eddaido: I'm not sure why you are addressing me, but I certainly did not send that message. I don't see anything to that effect on your user talk page. And I don't see any {{Rename}} request on the file page. Could you please be more specific about what exactly you did and who sent you what message in what medium? And are you requesting that "Flexible" be removed from the filename or are you asking for something else? - Jmabel ! talk 01:32, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Nah, still the same and when I take a screen dump to send to you the message(s) disappear! Some people just don't have enough to do . . . I'm just going to forget the whole thing. Eddaido (talk) 01:46, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      1. Are you actually saying a system message accused you of dishonesty? Of course, technically you aren't the credited uploader because at that time you uploaded it the Flickr upload bot was still being counted as an uploader, but it clearly indicates this upload was at your request. But a system message should not be questioning your honesty.
      2. Again: do you want "Flexible" removed from the file name or not? - Jmabel ! talk 01:58, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Again: yes I am "actually saying a system message accused (me) of dishonesty" and again an hour later. I can take a phone video and send it to you if you like. Tell me.
  • About the flexible: About that time en:Weymann Fabric Bodies developed a system where the external body panels were metal not leather but joined by a patented method which allows the panels to move (a very little bit) which may be how the photographer got muddled so in a sense its OK and because there are two other shots of the same car And the official Pebble Beach noticeboard has it, it can stay as it is.
