Oceania isn't a very clearly defined area, and has multiple definitions. Asia's borders are better defined, but not set in stone. There's no overwhelming reason any piece of land must be included in one of these maps. Chipmunkdavis (talk) 15:12, 8 June 2012 (UTC)

I suggest that both Papuas (West/Indonesian and New Guinea) are included in both maps. It has to be somewhere! The answer of "In what continent is West Papua located?" could not be "neither". Bennylin (yes?) 16:16, 23 November 2012 (UTC)

India

Oceanic border

The Weber line divides Asian Wallacea from Oceanic Wallacea. Any objection to adjusting the border accordingly? The difference is that Halmahera & neighboring islands to the immediate west of New Guinea count as Oceania, while Timor and neighbors remain as Asia. Kwamikagami (留言) 23:03, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
