• The territorial evolution of Australia ought to include all Australian territories including all historic ones, or no historic ones at all. Currently, it includes New Zealand but excludes PNG. This map is quite informative, but what about the external territories of:

• Territory of Heard Island and McDonald Islands

• Territory of Ashmore and Cartier Islands

• Territory of Christmas Island

• Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands
• Territory of New Guinea

• Territory of Papua

• Territory of Papua and New Guinea
