In diesem Bild erscheinen keinerlei ungarische Ortschaften. Was nicht nur merkwürdig für eine damalige Region Ungarns ist, sondern absolut falsch. Vielmehr handelt es sich hier von einem Propaganda Objekt der kommunistischen Regierung Rumäniens(1970) die eine sehr nationalistische Politik vertrat. Answer: actualy, map is quite correct. Medieval Hungarian population have left from Banat in the 16th century, following Ottoman conquest. When Austrians conquered Banat in 1718 there were no Hungarians there. Austrians made from it an separate province, and besides local Serb and Romanian residents, that province was designated to be settled by ethnic Germans.
