The parentage is cited as: (= Brassavola nodosa × Cattleya Batalinii) where C. Batalinii = C. bicolor x C. intermedia.

The name Cattleya batalinii Sander & Kraenzl. 1892, is however not a hybrid, but a synonymous name for: Cattleya porphyroglossa Linden & Rchb.f. (1856).

But the name "batalinii" might have been used several times and I have not made any reserarch on this Uleli (talk) 10:33, 21 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
