What books were they burning[edit]

Out of curiosity, do we know what books were they burning? What was considered "trash and filth"? --Codrin.B (talk) 15:46, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Following a German tradition, could it be literature from Jewish authors? -- sarang사랑 09:05, 4 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No. That simply would not have been consistent with the ethos of the East German government. Probably a combination of works with dirty pictures or explicit about sex (possibly also explicit violence), or capitalist leaning works.--Prosfilaes (talk) 00:21, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
