I think this image is misleading because it portrays the angle between the outgoing particles as 90 degrees, which is likely to confuse the reader, especially because that angle is always 90 degrees between identical particles whenever one of them is initially at rest.

And, I cannot open/edit the file on my Inkscape. The file may be corrupted. Note also how it often renders oddly, as in this case:

Fixing this is somewhere on my "to do" list. I have close to 100 students in my three classes, I will see if any of them want to learn how to make svg images. --Guy vandegrift (talk) 14:06, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
