This looks like a Cucurbita argyrosperma variety called "Pima Bajo Segualca" summer squash. -- 208.81.184.4 18:35, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure its not, I'm pretty sure its Cucurbita pepo, which I know as 鱼翅瓜, we grew this in the garden for a couple of years and I've still got one of the squashes sitting in the kitchen (saving it for the seeds). We had two versions the plain yellow version and the green and white version which is identical to this image. However I can't rule out that two cultivars were being given the same name because they were being cooked in the same way. I'll not revert your rename to Category:Spaghetti squash but throw this into Cucurbita generally and tag with fact disputed.KTo288 (talk) 00:06, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This looks identical to a typical Cucurbita ficifolia. Look a this image, C. ficifolia in sale. http://www.cucurbit.org/family/species/Cucurbita/show-fic/fic3.html --RoRo (talk) 13:00, 5 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Attaining to its brazilian name, I will state confirmed this is a C. ficifolia fruit. Check portuguese wikipedia: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chila-caiota and also this blog showing its pulp is that of C. ficifolia: http://esfomeado.blogspot.com.ar/2006/12/doce-de-abbora-gila_19.html --RoRo (talk) 19:53, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
