De Dion, Bouton & Trépardoux steam car (1885)

[edit]

Following the museum's informations, this a single-seated steam car built in 1885. It carries it's boiler and water tank in front; at the rear, there are provisions for carrying coal on both sides of the rear wheel. Designation De Dion-Bouton is not exact as the company changed name after Trépardoux left in 1893. From 1884, it was Etablissement De Dion, Bouton & Trépardoux. If the year of comnstruction is correct, this car was built in Puteaux.--Chief tin cloud (talk) 12:49, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
