Montenegro[edit]

I’m banned from Wikipedia and I can’t edit but Montenegro uses 112 and 911, along with 122, 123 and 124 for the police, fire department, and ambulance respectively. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 62.4.41.221 (talk) 20:12, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a source for 911 being available. Akeosnhaoe (talk) 06:28, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect number displayed for New Zealand[edit]

Indonesia[edit]

Indonesia is 112 — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 180.243.115.67 (talk) 04:38, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A program to design and implement a 112 service was started in 2015 and the implementation is still ongoing. The responsibility of implementing the 112 service lies with each of the country's ~500 or so regencies (kabupaten). Currently about 60 kabupaten around the country have implemented the 112 service. Argentina[edit]

Hi, Argentina should be marked as 911 for police emergencies (Government of Argentina. 911 Emergencias (in Spanish).). Some provinces also use 101 for police emergencies (Government of Tucumán Province. Policía de Tucuman (in Spanish).).--Flipwared (talk) 21:54, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This was done a while ago. Akeosnhaoe (talk) 06:28, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Canada's wrong in this image, too![edit]

Canada is 911, not "911 and 112"; see this and this among many other sources. Pogorrhœa (talk) 02:54, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

112 will redirect to 911 in those parts of Canada with 911 service. FYI Thewolfchild (talk) 08:08, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That may be true, but it is like a technical piece of trivia. It doesn't change the fact that Canada is 911. This image is wrong. --Zaurus (talk) 20:40, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's not categorically true. Some mobile phone service providers in some areas of Canada will redirect a 112 call to 911, but -- as you would have seen, Thewolfchild, had you clicked either of the links I provided or done your own homework -- Canadian officials say not to fool around with codes from other countries; in an emergency in Canada, you're meant to dial 911. The map is wrong. Pogorrhœa (talk) 18:30, 22 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Based on the links provided above, the map seems categorically, demonstrably, and dangerously wrong. Will it be updated? 142.169.78.129 17:36, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Philippines[edit]

911 is also used in the Philippines. Please update. — 🍕 Yivan000 viewtalk 11:26, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Australia[edit]

Australia's primary number is 000. However you can call 112 on any mobile phone and be redirected to 000. Details: https://www.triplezero.gov.au/triple-zero/other-emergency-numbers

For better or worse, this map doesn't count just mobile phones redirecting, has to be all phones. Akeosnhaoe (talk) 06:28, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Colombia[edit]

The emergency number in Colombia is 123. Dialing 112 will connect you to the police. ABehrens (talk) 04:39, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This map shows whether or not one of the two ITU-approved numbers is supported. The country is colored if calling 911 or 112 does something. Akeosnhaoe (talk) 02:01, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Italy[edit]

@Akeosnhaoe: 911 is not used in Italy. In Italy we use 112 except in seven six regions (Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Basilicata, Puglia) where there are still 112 (carabinieri gendarmerie), 113 (police), 115 (fire department) and 118 (ambulance). These numbers in the rest of the country redirect to 112.-- Carnby (talk) 19:34, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Me again. Just discovered that 911 redirects to 112.-- Carnby (talk) 10:48, 8 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
