Colors

[edit]

You can't take colors from a photo where the w:White balance may be not accurate. --VoidWanderer (talk) 14:00, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't use exactly the same colors. If you check the code, you will see that it's standard steel blue (which is commonly used on the CoA of Donetsk) and gold. I published this photo to show that the flag does not contain such shades as in the first version. Please also note that the previous version is non-symmetrical (you can check the position of the rays). So, if you think that we should use other shades, then just edit my code or if you are not familiar with SVG, just write their hex triples and I will correct it by myself. — Ιγκόρ (talk) 09:10, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ιγκόρ, do you know Ukrainain? Here are official sites:
Previous colors/tones were much more accurate. So it would be nice if you use them instead current ones. --VoidWanderer (talk) 23:51, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Those are just some pictures with simplest colors. The same principle is used on FOTW. In reality, tones are much darker. But perhaps it's true that it's better to use another shade of gold. I'll see what I can do. — Ιγκόρ (talk) 07:59, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
There's no such thing as "reality" when you're showing a real-life photo in uncertain conditions for a flag with unknown quality. --VoidWanderer (talk) 21:52, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
