Neutrality[編輯]
The current flag is just a greyed version of the German flag; you should swap the colours "#bbb" and "#d4d4d4" in the SVG source file to get something looking like a flag but not like any existing. --Mr. B.B.C. (talk) 14:46, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

I agree, that it is not neutral (regardless of which original country it has been grayed, it still implies, that flags have three horizontal stripes, which is obviously not true, and others could easily ask, why not have three vertical stripes, why not have triangle on the left side, etc...). Therefore I would like this one to be replaced by white rectangle with grey question mark, something like File:Dummy flag.svg (that particular one has two issues though - it is transparent and it has frame, but I am sure somebody can create such simple dummy flag). Thank you. Please feel free to spread/notice this request anywhere necessary.

- Even though I agree, that this flag looks like a grey version of the German flag, one can easily argue, that not every flag is plane and not every flag is an rectangle (especially not with a 3:2 ratio). Anyway, I made a new plain version, which has exactly the same size as before to ensure compatibility and is only grey with a questionmark. --Sepp (talk) 11:19, 30 April 2013 (UTC)

- Using the code above, the question mark is shown very small compared to background. So I uploaded tweaked version to the original code. I removed rectangles at top & bottom and kept the original question mark. – Kwj2772 (msg) 04:14, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
- I think that the new version should have been uploaded under a new filename, since the new SVG is just a blank indeterminate rectangle, while the old SVG version conveyed "flagness" much better by being some kind of tricolor. Also, the Wikipedias chose to use the image based on its previous appearance, so radically changing its appearance without any discussions on the Wikipedias could be seen as somewhat rude... - @Kwj2772: I prefer to user rather text- and rect-tags instead of inefficient Inkscape-code, but since the extremly useful lang-feature of SVG is not supported and Wikiprojects don’t use SVG by default, I do not care too much... (;
- @AnosMoos: Was there somewhere some objection against this change? This picture is used on more than 250 pages, I don’t think a discussion about this should be made on every one of those pages. --Sepp (talk) 10:52, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
