Bonjour,

Hello,

There is a problem with this file.

Before, it was named Haute-Normandie flag.svg.

But Haute-Normandie has never been represented by the flag with 3 leopards.

I had therefore modified the image, to put the correct one.

Now the file is again at three leopards, and the name has been changed.

But all the pages that used this file as the flag of Haute-Normandie, find themselves again with the flag with three leopards, instead of two.

Anyone have a solution?

Is it possible to automatically change Flag_of_Normandie_(three-leopard_version).svg by Flag_of_Normandie.svg on all pages that use Flag_of_Normandie_(three-leopard_version).svg (formerly badly called Haute-Normandie flag.svg) Oedipe23 (talk) 22:57, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the redirection of Haute-Normandie flag.svg TO Flag_of_Normandie.svg (how it shoud have been done, instead of 3 léopards versions.
If someone is able to cancel when every pages used Haute-Normandie flag.svg changed it to 3 léopards..., everything should be good Oedipe23 (talk) 23:33, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Oedipe23: Hey! I get the issue you are raising. Unfortunately, the file cannot be changed to a two-leopard version, per COM:OVERWRITE (since that would be a substantial change) and COM:DUPE (since the two-leopard version already exists at Flag of Normandie.svg). That's why I changed it back to a three-leopard version and had its name changed instead. I think the best solution is to manually replace usage of this file with Flag of Normandie.svg where appropriate. I don't know if it's possible to do this automatically, but maybe you could ask an administrator for assistance? — Ætoms (talk) 16:11, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, i will do it manually (most of them are in Templates)
Concerning the drawing, it's good to have it in SVG. But is it possible the lions occupy more space on the flag (sometimes it makes the lions look too stretched out, but that's often how they look on this version of the flag).
I had tried something like this: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/93/Trois-l%C3%A9opards-drapeau.png
It is only a question of esthetics, of the taste of each one. Oedipe23 (talk) 20:57, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
