This looks like Gilia capitata (Globe Gilia) rather than limonium californica. Please check & revise if necessary, so others don't become confused. --C.M. Vadheim, Professor of Biology, CSU Dominguez Hills

Now that I look at it, I see your point, and I suspect it is mislabeled in the garden (it never occurred to me that it might be a Gilia since there were supposedly none in the garden at the time).--Curtis Clark 05:29, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
