The factual accuracy of this map is disputed.[edit]

Map is inaccurate, due to the author of the book being sloppy, utterly in its south and south-eastern part;
The wiki map maker reproduced the map from the book perfectly and is not to blame, book can be found online, but the map in the book is simply a blunder.
The book author seems to have used an old historical map (centuries old) for the tribal locations.
But for the extent, just extremely sloppy work.
The territory is extended into ancient Paeonia (rendering it non-existent in effect), ancient epirus and the kingdom of ancient macedon.
The southern border is extended by 124 miles (200 kilometers) for unknown reasons. Simply a colossal error.
The south-eastern border is also extended by a similar distance of around 124 miles (200 kilometers) for unknown reasons. Another blunder by the author.
This is like making a map of Portland, Oregon and placing it in Bonanza, Oregon which is a similar distance to the south. Or switching the state of California with the state of Oregon. And getting some action from Nevada as well. 124 miles worth.MaryroseB54 (talk) 12:25, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
