Option: Replace this file by the SVG Icon File[edit]

Dear Wikicommons Managers:

I've seen this trouble before, and i'm not agreed that this file must be deleted because exist another case in wich we accept the trademarked logo.

In the case of Apple, the copyright date explains that the logo can be used in Commons 'cause is older than 1977. However, in this case we replace this picture with thye SVG file that use the French wikipedia (Mozilla Firefox on French Wikipedia).

The next step is add those templates (search more in the Copyright tags):

{{PD-textlogo}} {{Trademarked}}

Thanks.

PD: in the Mozilla Trademark Policy FAQ, exist a part that says:

"CAN I MAKE A T-SHIRT/DESKTOP WALLPAPER/BASEBALL CAP WITH THE LOGO ON? Sure, if it's just for you, or if it's for others and no money or other consideration changes hands (although see the question about high-res versions). The Mozilla Foundation owns and operates the Mozilla Store which sells a wide range of CDs, Guidebooks, T-shirts, and products with Mozilla software and logos."

That permission does not make it PD. It is very limited. --AVRS (talk) 14:08, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The logo files in Firefox are under three free copyright licenses (MPL 1.1, GNU GPL 2+, GNU LGPL 2.1+), please see {{MTL}}. --AVRS (talk) 14:11, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On uploading bigger versions[edit]

If you’ve found a bigger version of the logo, and want to upload it, please consider this:
