Whatever, dude -- I have very little idea what you think you're talking about. You're big on throwing jargon terms around, and trying to engage in wiki-lawyering based on Wikipedia procedures (which in fact are not too relevant to the different ways things are done here on Commons), but you seem to be rather poor when it comes to presenting any comprehensible explanation for your actions.
If you look in the file history of File:Peace dove.svg you can easily see that basically the same image was the most recent version from "06:39, 17 January 2007" to "09:10, 16 October 2012", with Sammy pompon doing slight tweaks of the original Elembis upload. Then on "09:11, 16 October 2012" you uploaded something new and strongly different, which was not a small incremental improvement and not a correction of an obvious image problem. Therefore by COM:OVERWRITE, your file should be uploaded separately under a new and different name. COM:OVERWRITE is a lot more relevant than your attempts at Wikilawyering...
