File name[編集]

File is called: File:Srbosjek (knife) used in Croatia - 1941–1945.jpg and is sourced from United States Holocaust Memorial Museum but when you go to that Ushmm link the description says: "A special knife that is worn over the hand that was used by the Ustasa militia for the quick slaughter of inmates in concentration camps." No mentioning of the name Srbosjek.--Rovoobo Talk 05:23, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[返信]

I had declined your rename request because of the searching results. When anybody would be searching a "Srbosjek" on Commons can find nothing although of the fact that we have this knife in our base. Even if it is a colloquial name, it should be preserved to help other people find what they would like. A name "special knife" tells nothing. And, as I see on description -- the formation was called "Ustaše", not "Ustase". Look at File renaming criterions: Files should NOT be renamed only because the filename is not English and/or is not correctly capitalized (Remember, Commons is a multilingual project, so there's no reason to favor English over other languages). All questionable sites and forums, anyways. I had enough.--Rovoobo Talk 09:13, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[返信]

I'll give you one example from your other sources that tell us: here [2] they say that is Petar Brzica from Jasenovac concentration camp. And when you actually find a news page from where that photo was taken it tells you that is not the same person but a different one. And yet on that taringa.net they call that man fascista, just cos he has the same name. Those are the sites you're referring me to. No thank you.--Rovoobo Talk 09:29, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[返信]
