Inaccuracies

The picture of the location of temperate rainforest File:Temperate rainforest map.svg (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Temperate_rainforest_map.svg) have a mistake.

The location of the temperate rainforest means most of this mostly in oceanic moist regions, and in the temperate zone. As a result, the location in P.R.China is not the temperate rainforest. Per the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, this map is incorrect. The Chinese user is correct, especially in regards to Yunnan's forests being missclassified on the SVG (and it appears that all of southern China's forests are missclassified on top of that). If someone is able to swap out the current map for this map instead, but just showing Temperate rainforests, that'd be great. In the meantime, I'm just going to remove this current map from the temperate rainforest article, I don't think there'd be any objections to that. LittleCuteSuit (talk) 07:02, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

The map looks to have just been made up by someone with a colouring app and no actual knowledge. It should be deleted. 86.154.221.120 08:00, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

Regarding the S African rainforests .... I guess its a matter of definition. w:George,_Western_Cape#Climate shows that the climate is in fact quite dry by comparison to the other areas listed here, and would not count as a rainforest at least by the definition the USA follows. Admittedly, Ireland isnt much different, and I was surprised to see Ireland on the map too. Soap (talk) 22:41, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
