This file has been renamed with reason 3: Correct misleading names into accurate ones. Previous name wasn't misleading. Previous name wasn't misleading; in fact it was very informative. Furthermore, until now nobody has been enough unskilled to request rotation of this file - anybody can see that the chair is resting on the ground and not in the ceiling, although the painting is inverted.

I think this image should be renamed to its previous name.--Pere prlpz (talk) 08:57, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What I meant is, that it was intentionally hanged upside down on the wall in the museum. In my opinion the filename was misleading because the description in English is not what the file name said. Hence my decision to move it. Maybe I should have taken the exact text as mentioned on the Philip V of Spain article, which would then have been: File:Portrait of Philip V of Spain exhibited upside down in the Museum of Almodí (es), Xativa, for having burned the city in 1707. As, in the meantime I notice different similar images of this on Commons, I do not see the point in uploading another extra file. If you do not agree, feel free to rename it to its previous name. The name can be improved to make it more descriptive, but the former name was not misleading or wrong.--Jordiferrer (talk) 09:27, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The name File:Portrait of Philip V of Spain exhibited upside down in the Museum of Almodí (es), Xativa, for having burned the city in 1707 could be useful for the unframed version - that you previously renamed - to warn users to busy to take a look at image description or history before requesting a rotation. Although, this image doesn't need a change. Furthermore, it's not common in Commons to put the whole description in file name, and Commons:renaming doesn't allow renaming just to put in file name more data that should be in description page.--Pere prlpz (talk) 09:36, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Commons also is not in need of {{duplicate|file:}}, so if one has to choose between the pest and the cholera? maybe this might bring the admins on an idea! :-) Lotje ʘ‿ʘ (talk) 09:58, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, but I don't understand your statement about {{duplicate|file:}}.
If it's about File:Retrat de Felip Vé exposat cap per avall al Museu de l'Almodí de Xàtiva per haver incendiat la ciutat el 1707.jpg, you tried to overwrite it with a rotated version. If you still think that a rotated (not upside down) version is needed, then you will need to make a duplicate. If you think that a rotated (not upside down) version is not needed, then there is no need to create any duplicate.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:12, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No, I didn't, at least, that was not my intention. I first asked for a rotation but then noticed the remark in te other versions section, I therefore wanted to undo the rotation request which must have cause a clash in the system. Will you hang me for that? :-) Lotje ʘ‿ʘ (talk) 10:30, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You actually requested it twice. I'm glad to see that it was just a misunderstanding. Anyway, I keep trying to improve description to prevent this from happen again.--Pere prlpz (talk) 10:41, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
-) Thanks for your time. Lotje ʘ‿ʘ (talk) 10:43, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
