Fort Calgary

Located at the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers in what is now Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Fort Calgary was established in 1875 by the North West Mounted Police as "The Elbow" or "Bow Fort," but later renamed by Colonel James MacLeod.
