Caulophyllum (blue cohoshes)[edit]

Caulophyllum giganteum (early blue cohosh) at the nearby Skaneateles Conservation Area on May 2, 2018.
It seems possibile that this specimen could actually be Caulophyllum giganteum (early blue cohosh), which appears to be present in the area and was considered to be variety of C. thalictroides (var. giganteum) until 1981, a few years after this specimen was collected.
