Description
Deutsch: Der barocke Winterpalast in St. Petersburg (Russland) wurde mit seinen 460 Räumen als Sitz der Zaren 1762 fertiggestellt. Das Gebäude wurde nach einem Brand im Jahre 1839 wiederhergestellt und beherbergt heute ein Teil des Kunstmuseums Eremitage. In der Bildmitte die Alexandersäule.
Simple English: The baroque winter palace in St. Petersburg (Russia) with its 460 rooms was completed in 1762 as the seat of the tsars. The building was restored after a fire in 1839 and is now part of the Hermitage Art Museum.
