English: 192: German decree from the Occupation of Jersey. The English text reads:
Order of the German Military Authorities (registered by Act of the Royal Court dated 28th April, 1942)
Notice
Concerning Curfew for the civilian population:)
The curfew hours for the Civil Population in the Channel Islands have been fixed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. as from 1st May, 1942. In the military zone in Jersey the curfew shall commence at 10 pm. and end at 5 a.m.
The Public Houses shall close half an hour before the commencement of the curfew.
The curfew for the Jews shall be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
