Description
English: An attractive Bijo rug, late 19th century;

5ft.7in. x 4ft. 1.79m. x 1.22m. Very slight even wear overall, two very small split kinks repaired and re-piled top end left. İt had been put in the Salisbury (United Kingdom) Auction Center. This is from the village of Bijo in the Aksu district of Azerbaijan.

From ornamental and technical point of views Bijo rugs are considered the most famous rugs in all Caucasia.
