Summary[edit]

Description
English: Cooked Giant Timber Bamboo (Bambusa oldhamii) sprouts. Taken by P. Pdeitiker 7-20-2006. Prepared by removing skins and selecting soft pulp. Single cut across at base of soft shoots (~12). Sliced along the axis of the shoot to about 1 to 3 mm. Boiled in tap water, 10 volumes per each volume of shoots, 3 times.
